Terms of service

Please make sure you read and understand the acebs.com.au terms and conditions prior to any purchase.

All purchases constitute an agreement that the buyer will adhere to all terms and conditions as set out on this page.

By purchasing you are entering into a legally binding contract with acebs.com.au, whereupon you are agreeing to all terms and conditions of sale as set out by Acebs.com.au


The prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out on the web site and all products are priced inclusive of GST. The price of the item(s) does not include the delivery charge. The delivery charge will be added to the price of the order unless pick up is arranged. Prices can change and our latest price is always displayed on our website www.acebs.com.au.


If for any reason beyond our reasonable control we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you as soon as possible.


Cartage will be charged on all deliveries, All Goods will be delivered to the designated site. If a customer requests assistance to move Goods inside any structure or building on site, no responsibility will be borne for any consequential loss or damage.

Our delivery service is made by a contracted courier company. Delivery times are provided by the delivery service, excluding weekends, holidays and may vary according to location. You will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery date and time. We do our best to deliver to you on your requested delivery date and will contact you as soon as possible if this cannot be done. If you order goods you must be home at the agreed time to accept and sign for deliveries. If you are not at home the delivery driver will leave a card and it is the customers responsibility to collect the goods or arrange another delivery at the customers cost. If you request multiple delivery dates for an order you will be charged a delivery fee each time. If for any reason we cannot deliver your full order at the same time you will not be charged for additional deliveries. If you wish to change the delivery date then please give us no less than 48 hours notice prior to delivery. It is advisable that yourself or someone on your behalf will be available to assist the driver in the unloading of large heavy goods. The delivery driver will not carry large items upstairs. Delivery of large items is a door to door service and the onus is on you to get items from the door to your desired location onsite.

Please note all deliveries will need to be signed for.

Delivery Insurance

This fee is optional but recommended as we will replace any and all items free of charge if they arrive damaged. If you choose not to take up this optional freight protection fee and the below items arrive damaged please be aware that there is no insurance on these items.

Delivery insurance covers only damage occurred through transporting the items from our warehouse to your designated delivery address. All deliveries should be checked upon receiving, as claims for delivery insurance can only be made within 48 hours of receipt of goods.

We will insure the following products against freight damage for free:

  • Accessories (except Mirrors) mirrors, shaving cabinets, toilets, vanities, tallboys, baths, basins, kitchen sinks, appliances
  • Tapware
  • Shower heads
  • Shower bases
  • Shower Wastes & Channels
  • Plugs

For the following products there is a small $11 freight insurance fee:

  • Mirrors
  • Shaving cabinets
  • Toilets
  • Vanities
  • Tallboys
  • Baths
  • Basins
  • Kitchen sinks
  • Appliances


If you wish to cancel your order we ask that you advise us at least 1 business day before your planned delivery date. Please note that products that are made to order (e.g. vanities made to a size and colour according to custom specifications) are unable to be cancelled more than a day after the order is placed. We require notice within 24 hours of placing the order on custom made products for cancellation. If a product is a standard stock line you will receive a full refund if cancelled prior to delivery but if it is an item that Ace Building Supplies orders in and the supplier charges a restocking fee that fee will be passed onto the customer.


We will accept all returns in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Returns will only be accepted with proof of purchase.

There is a 30 Days limitation on all credits. Credits will not be issued for Goods returned without proof of purchase.

All Goods sold are subject to the applicable manufacturers warranty, guarantee and trading terms (if any). If goods are deemed faulty following confirmation by the manufacturer you may replace them free of charge by contacting us at 03 8789 7492.

All our items are checked for damage and missing parts prior to delivery. They are sent out in good and brand new condition. It is important to thoroughly check your goods upon delivery and to notify Acebs.com.au within 24 hours of receiving the order. Evidence of damage will be required i.e. photographs.

Any claims for credits must be made in writing to Acebs.com.au within 3 business days of date of delivery, otherwise the Customer is deemed to have accepted the Goods and liability for the Goods.

If goods remain boxed and in perfect condition you may return them within 7 days for a full refund provided that the manufacturer does not surcharge Acebs.com.au. The cost of return delivery will be incurred by the customer.

All boxed items will incur a 15% restocking charge if returned after 7 days and the cost of return delivery will be incurred by the customer.

All products that are unboxed will incur a 20% restocking charge and the cost of return delivery will be incurred by the customer.

There are no returns or refunds available on custom made products. This excludes items that are defective or have a manufacturers fault.

If an item that is ordered is a special order that Acebs.com.au does not usually stock there will be an automatic 20% restocking charge to return the goods provided that the supplier will accept the return. This excludes items that are defective or have a manufacturers fault.

You as the customer have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession. If products are damaged by you no refund will be made.

All refunds will be issued when goods have arrived back to the Acebs.com.au warehouse and have been inspected by a member of our team. Refunds will be made by the same method used for the purchase.

If an item has been installed or used and you would like a refund please contact us before removing the item as it should be inspected in the installed state to ascertain whether the warranty is to be actioned.

If an item is installed when it is faulty the original warranty applies (i.e. if the warranty is replacement only Ace Building Supplies will provide a replacement product but will not pay for associated labour costs).


Payment must be made and received prior to goods being dispatched.

You can pay with any Visa, Mastercard, American Express card. You may also pay via Direct Deposit or Cash if you pick up. Your payment card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment is given at the time of order. You will be charged for items at point of order. Our liability to you in respect of an order shall be limited to the value of that order. We shall not be liable to you for any economic loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business, wasted expenditure or depletion of goodwill as a result of our negligence which arise out of or in connection with an order.

Custom Made Timber Vanity Warranty

Products hold a 3 year internal structural warranty on all furniture. We use only the highest quality of furniture grade timbers, combining traditional craftsmanship and modern technology we aim to make furniture that will last a lifetime when used as intended.

Surface finishes will be under warranty for 1 years. This covers chemical failure of the finish, but does not cover wear and tear or failure dueto environmental factors or misuse.

Product Information

While all care is taken, any errors or omissions in the item details are unintentional. Acebs.com.au makes every effort to ensure all prices and product information is up to date and correct at the time of display. However, we take no responsibility for any incorrect information that may appear and reserve the right to refuse any order which may contain mistakes. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that product information is correct when purchasing any new bathroom or kitchen product.
